Breakfast:
Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, and we take great pride in providing you with a delicious and memorable dining experience. Our gourmet European full breakfast is prepared by our chef, Clay. Clay worked in the hospitality industry, and recently received additional training at The French Culinary Institute. We use local produce as much as possible, free-range eggs, and much of the food is organic. In season we also use blueberries and fresh herbs from the garden. All baked goods (baguettes, challah breads, and cinnamon rolls, for example) are made from scratch
Typical breakfasts range from Chevre and Fresh Herb and cheese Frittatas with warm salsa to Orange-Pecan French Bread French Toast with a Grand Marnier reduction. You may enjoy an overstuffed German apple pancake with our homemade raspberry sauce.
We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or waterfront porch each morning at 9 a.m.
Hot freshly brewed imported coffee and assorted teas are available at 8 a.m. (self-serve)
A gourmet snack awaits your return from shopping, wine tastings, and enjoying our coast and town!

The Location:
Centrally located on a quiet street in Greenport, our home was completely renovated in late 2005 with modern state of the art amenities.
Water Views:
The Stirling House is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with unobstructed water views of Stirling Cove, Greenport Harbor and Shelter Island and is your "home away from home". Relax and enjoy Greenport's lovliest water views and our beautiful environs.
Available room amenities also include a king size bed, a whirlpool bath and superior waterviews. We also have a loaner portable personal DVD player available along with a library of the lastest DVD releases...enjoy that movie you've been meaning to catch...tonight!
